Biography
Lawrence Guffey is a Managing Partner of Twin Point Capital, a private investment firm focused on media and communications and business services assets. Twin Point Capital is the principal investment arm of Mr. Guffey's family office, LG Capital Investors.
Previously, Mr. Guffey was a Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group where he had senior responsibility for the firm's Media and Communications private equity practice and was a member of the firm's Investment Committee. From 2003 to 2013, Mr. Guffey served as one of Blackstone’s Senior Partners in Europe.
Mr. Guffey currently serves on the boards of The Paris Review, Stealth Monitoring and Alight Media and concluded his board service of T-Mobile USA, Inc. and Partners Capital Investment Group in 2021.
Mr. Guffey graduated magna cum laude from Rice University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
