Wanda Kim is Executive Chair of European Technology for Business Holdings, an early stage medtech company that uses sensor-based technology and data analysis to find simple solutions for the immense healthcare challenges caused by poor gait, including falls in the elderly and the explosion in osteoarthritis sufferers.
Wanda seeks to support organisations that apply novel and scalable approaches to seemingly impossible problems. InFrontier, a specialist investment firm, invests in Afghan SMEs to promote socioeconomic stability. The not-for-profit Conservation Strategy Fund conducts economic valuations of natural ecosystems to secure the conservation of those ecosystems.
Formerly, Wanda spent 14 years at UBS Investment Bank working in a variety of positions in the Zurich and London offices. In her role as Managing Director and Head of the Environmental Advisory Group, she created a new team in the investment bank with global responsibility to manage environmental risks, and to pursue environmental business opportunities. Wanda also headed the Equity Corporate Finance Team, a global group responsible for the execution of initial public offerings and capital raisings.
Wanda received an A.B. cum laude from Harvard University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. She divides her time between California, London and Chamonix and speaks rusty German and rustier Korean. As a former pianist, she has a keen personal and philanthropic interest in classical music and opera.
