Scott Travers is Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Financial Institutions Group. The Financial Institutions Group serves over a thousand of the financial sector’s top executives and their families in a wide range of areas, including customized lending, investment ideas and solutions, long-term planning, and philanthropic strategies. Previously, in his role as Vice President at J.P. Morgan, Scott was responsible for the management of a $9 billion portfolio, overseeing the private wealth of emerging names in the hedge fund and investment banking industries.
An experienced and well-respected investment manager, Scott has been with J.P. Morgan for over 10 years. His first role with the company was as an analyst in Boston from 2007-2010. Since then, he has worked in the New York office, rising from the title of Associate to his current position of Executive Director.
Scott was honoured by Forbes Magazine in their 2015 Forbes 30 Under 30. This list honors individuals in a range of industries who are emerging luminaries in their respective fields. Scott was honoured in the field of Finance for his work with JP Morgan and noted for his many achievements in the role of Vice President.
He earned a BS in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
