Pratik Dalmia is a third generation entrepreneur based in Mumbai. He is currently actively involved in managing a luxury retail business, representing over half a dozen leading international brands, as well as an airport services business which he founded on his return from the United Kingdom in 2011. In addition to this he spends his time overseeing the development of his family enterprise which is engaged in the recycling of post-consumer polymer waste and is currently operating at the forefront of its industry. He continues to explore new business prospects and is currently focusing on opportunities in the sustainability and retail sector.
Prior to pursuing his entrepreneurship interests, Pratik spent two years in London working at Greenhill & Co. LLP and Bank of America–Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banking analyst across sectors such as retail, renewable energy and industrials. He has previously completed internships at Future Capital, HDFC and Bank of Scotland Corporate, focusing on the real estate sector.
Pratik is an active participant at various industry-related events including the World Economic Forum. In 2016 he became Chairman of the ASSOCHAM National Council on Luxury and Lifestyle and is also a member of the Mumbai Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization. Due to his diverse interests he has been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London since 2010.
As learning is an ongoing process, Pratik often takes up specific programs at leading management institutions. Pratik gained a M.A.(Honours) and B.A.(Honours) at the University of Cambridge, UK, prior to which he was educated at The International School, Bengaluru and Cathedral & John Connon School in Mumbai.
