Biography

Niran Chana is a skilled business strategist, team leader and expert within the direct-to-consumer digital model. He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Gymshark, overseeing Global Merchandising, Media, Trading and Operations.

Following university, Niran began his career in management at Sports HQ Group, a leading e-commerce organisation that provides the online retailing of sporting goods, leisure and lifestyle products. Moving to Gymshark in early 2015, initially as a member of the management team, he was promoted to Trading Director before undertaking his current role on the Board.

A natural leader with the ability to bring teams together, Niran has a proven track record in delivering consecutive year-on-year profitable growth in his tenure to date. His success is attributed to driving cross-functional collaboration, deploying growth-orientated initiatives whilst protecting brand equity. Niran's focus is towards scaling the Gymshark brand in both new and existing markets.

Prior to his career, Niran studied at Nottingham Trent University where he achieved a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Sport Science & Management.
