Michal Krupinski is a highly regarded financial executive, economist, banker and investor who serves as a Senior Advisor at Warburg Pincus LLC.
Michal has held various influential positions in prominent financial institutions around the world. As CEO of Bank Pekao, Michal was at the helm of a leading corporate and investment bank in Poland. He was credited with bolstering the position of the largest financial group in the Central and Eastern European region, PZU Group, where he also held the post of CEO.
At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Michal was Head of Global Banking and Markets for Central and Eastern Europe, leading with mergers & acquisitions and capital advisory. He was Alternate Executive Director of the Board of Directors to the World Bank Group in Washington during the global financial crisis of 2008.
The World Economic Forum nominated Michal as a ‘Young Global Leader’ in 2012. He graduated with an MSc in International Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and achieved his Master of Advanced Studies in European Economy at Université Catholique de Louvain with Distinction. Michal also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and attended Harvard University for Executive Studies.
Michal divides his time between London and Zurich.
