Marcus Watson’s Biography

Marcus Watson is an experienced entrepreneur, advisor, investor and non-executive director.

Marcus is co-founder and CEO of Adoreum Partners, a leading business and corporate development consultancy, and The Adoreum Club, a high-level business development platform bringing together the compassionate, entrepreneurial spirit of U/HNWIs, business leaders, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, investors, academics and creative visionaries who believe in using their collective influence for good.

He is also Chairman of Object Media Group, a film, television and branded content producer; co-founder and Director of Modern Affluence, a platform providing insight to luxury, lifestyle and financial services brands on how to engage affluent Millennial, Gen Z and Gen Alpha consumers; co-founder and a non-executive director of Global Accounting Network a London and Atlanta based senior finance recruitment group; co-founder and a non-executive director of Hoxton Circle, a New York and LA based recruitment group; a non-executive director of Rebottling which provides unique experiences of the best wines in the world, guided by the greatest sommeliers; and non-executive director of Watson & Hillhouse which supplies piling equipment to the construction industry.

Marcus is an angel investor committed to providing small businesses and ambitious entrepreneurs with the opportunity to grow and thrive. He is an investor and advisor to several companies in the media, technology, health and wellness sectors including: Audoo,, IDAL, Skoot, PlotBox, WoMo, LOCA, Marco Polo, Twyn, LoyaltyX, Bubbleology, Sourced Investments and DocPortal.

He specialises in investment fund-raising, corporate finance, strategy marketing and business development and is a graduate of King's College London, where he obtained a MSc in International Business Management.

Marcus currently advises UNICEF in the UK and supports several charities including Crohn’s & Colitis UK and The Listening Place.

The Listening Place
The Listening Place was set up in 2016 in London by a group of volunteers with experience in supporting the suicidal who recognised that there was a lack of face-to-face support available for many people with chronic suicidal feelings.
