Liz Pope serves as a Director at The Marque.
She leads the international profile management team and oversees all client services across the platform. Working closely with The Marque leadership and the team, based in London, New York, and Cape Town, Liz ensures the company maintains its personalised and high-quality service.
An accomplished writer, Liz is the author of ‘Great Faces of Dorset’, the first in a series documenting the interesting characters of the county of Dorset. The book was published by Dovecote Press and was received to great acclaim, selling out within weeks. She has also contributed to magazines including Grand Heritage Hotels International, Staffordshire Life and Dorset Life for their ‘Living Treasures of Dorset Series’.
Earlier in her career, Liz worked as Marketing Manager at Windsor Insurance Brokers, where she headed the company’s rebranding. Working closely with the CEO on the company's brand strategy, they successfully increased market share in the competitive marine, aviation and contingency sectors. She ran advertising campaigns and implemented plans to make insurance a more accessible service. Liz was responsible for organising international client entertainment and event planning, which included trips to the Cresta Run in St Moritz. A registered Lloyd’s broker, Liz specialised in contingency insurance covering motorsport, national sporting events and festivals.
At DL Taffner, a New York based TV and film production company, Liz worked closely with the actors, their agents and the management team to ensure the smooth running of productions. Liz began her career at established wine merchant, Justerini & Brooks, where she was involved in the planning of wine tastings, purchasing trips to France and the sale of clients’ vintage wine stocks at Christie’s.
