Lee Forster has spent his career in healthcare and wellness working as both a strategist and consultant for major health-related companies and organisations. In 2023, Lee was made a Partner at Praetura Ventures, with a specific focus on spotting early-stage and high growth investment opportunities in the health sector for the Manchester-based VC, which currently has 33 active portfolio businesses.

As part of his role, Lee sits on the Praetura Ventures Board and Investment Committee, which has the final say on which companies Praetura invests in. He is also partly responsible for ensuring the health founders that Praetura backs receive More Than Money support, which is the additional value that Praetura provides to founders outside of capital alone.

Praetura Ventures is part of the wider Praetura Group, which has grown to over £550m AUM and 150 staff. Praetura Ventures itself works with private and public investors. These include high net worth individuals and organisations such as Bruntwood SciTech, which – alongside the VC – is behind the GMC Life Sciences Fund By Praetura. The... Before working with Praetura, Lee founded and exited a number of successful businesses and consultancy firms. One of the most recent being Neat Nutrition, a worldwide bespoke supplement subscription brand of which he is chairman. Prior to this, Lee started his career with IQVIA before holding senior roles at UDG Healthcare plc and the leading life sciences company Science Group as the group’s SVP and head of commercial strategy.

With a decorated career in health, Lee has positioned himself as a leading expert in his field and has spoken at MIT, Bloomberg and BBC News. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Bath. moreless
