Biography
Jonathan Buxton is Head of the Consumer Group at Cavendish Corporate Finance and also Head of Oaklins' Global Consumer and Retail Group (formerly M&A International). He is a specialist advisor to branded businesses in the Retail, FMCG and Luxury goods sectors and during his career has advised on transactions ranging from multi-billion pound government projects to the sale of family businesses. Jonathan has lectured and co-written on M&A related topics and is particularly experienced in advising main market and AIM listed companies.

Victoria Beckham nets £30m private equity investment

Private equity firm Neo Investment Partners has invested £30 million into Victoria Beckham's fashion business...Jonathan Buxton, partner and head of consumer and retail at Cavendish Corporate Finance, said the deal demonstrated the attractiveness of British brands as premium retailers shift their focus to digital channels to attract foreign buyers. 'The appetite for premium UK brands from foreign buyers remains strong, specifically from markets like China, Russia and the Middle East,' Buxton said.
