John Snodgrass is a Partner of Jet Linx Atlanta. Having been a regular client of NetJets, John recognised that an innovative change was coming to private jet travel and wanted to be part of it by bringing Jet Linx to Atlanta. He is also Managing Director of privately-owned, Great American Holdings, an Atlanta-based holding company.
Previously, John served two decades with HFS Incorporated after starting as a Sales and Marketing Associate in 1979, he held senior executive roles throughout the 80s and rose to President and COO in 1992, during which time the company’s market capitalization grew from $1 billion to more than $14 billion. John became Vice Chairman of the company in 1996. Under his leadership, HFS grew from an international hotel franchising company with three hotel brands, to a global services provider and marketing powerhouse in the hotel, real estate, mortgage, relocation, timeshare, gaming and car rental businesses. John managed the company through the completion and integration of fourteen strategic acquisitions.
John is Chairman of the Board of Future Technologies; an Independent Board Director of Driven Brands and of Harris Research Inc. He is an active member of the Atlanta community and is a Founding Member of the Buckhead Heritage Society and many other local charities.
John has served as a Board Advisor at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Institute of Technology, he was also a Member of the Board of Trustees of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School where he gained a Distinguished Service Award.
John graduated with a degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
