Here are the magnificent leading ladies of 2018, in no particular order: Jess Burley, Global CEO at m/SIX...During an interview with Campaign Live, Jess shared the most satisfying thing she has done recently: pitch The&Partnership to TELUS in Canada with a brilliant m/SIX team.
What is M/Six? "It’s an unusual media agency in that we’re a joint venture between The&Partnership and WPP’s media-buying arm Group M."
Jess Burley, global chief executive, m/SIX: "...Data’s true value lies in following the signals emitted by people as they flow across different devices, platforms, and apps. Media planning’s future lies in reacting to this flow, testing assets and adapting investment as we rapidly learn what works."
Data that can show what people’s interests are is what agencies want, and Glamour is likely sitting on a heap of people’s lifestyle data. “Glamour UK has a great view of lifestyle and audience preferences, so if they can let advertisers access that data to create unique audiences and segments, they have a game-changing opportunity,” said Jess Burley, CEO of media agency M/Six. “To really realize the value of their offering, activating their data independent of an ad sell will get them more money.”
m/SIX has appointed a new global leadership line-up with two new senior hires and a series of internal promotions. The new line up follows a year of expansion for the media agency network. It has launched in 17 new European markets and doubled its North America billings. Parris, who was previously responsible for managing MEC EMEA’s performance across 40 markets, will work closely with global chief executive Jess Burley and with Group M and The & Partnership to oversee commercial performance.
