Ivan Levy is Executive Chairman and majority shareholder of EEA Helicopter Operations BV, the European entity of CHC Helicopter Operations which transports people to and from offshore oil & gas installations in the EMEA regions as well as running sea rescue operations.
With an interest in fine dining, Ivan is co-owner of fera and The Kitchen restaurants in Palma. He is shareholder & Non-Executive Chairman of Son Naava which produces bio dynamic olive oil from Spain. He also has interests in property development and is shareholder and Non-Executive Chairman at Coco Sage, known for creating luxury spaces in stunning locations in Mallorca.
In 2000, Ivan owned the master licence and opened the first UK branch of California Closets, on the Kings Road in London. Earlier, in 1983, Ivan and his wife established the franchise for The Body Shop in Switzerland. He ran the company as CEO until 1996 when he moved to the UK to take up a board position at The Body Shop International. In 2010, Ivan sold The Body Shop, Switzerland to COOP but remained CEO until 2012.
His charity work has included Vice President of the Board of Aids-Hilfe Schweiz, which aims to educate people about sexually transmitted diseases, in particular HIV. Ivan was UK Chairman of Magic Bus, a not-for-profit organisation which empowers vulnerable children in India, to make effective life choices. He initiated the Magic Bus Myanmar and is now a member of the Magic Bus Global Board.
Ivan was also a Director and owner of Earthchild in Cape Town, a business he sold to Truworths in 2014. Additionally, Ivan created and supported a new brand identity for a charity founded by the Franciscan Convent in Arta, Mallorca and is the Founder and Chair of Dulwich International Schools Foundation, who guide children from poverty to prosperity.
