Hollie Haynes is Founder and Managing Partner of Luminate Capital Partners, a private equity firm primarily investing in the software and software-enabled services areas. Luminate engages with entrepreneurs and large companies alike, focusing on enterprise software and growth buyouts
With its team of technology industry veterans, Luminate is dedicated to building active partnerships with executive teams. As an entrepreneur herself, Hollie wanted to build a business that design client interactions with a focus on the ease of execution and customer experience.
Before founding Luminate, Hollie built a considerable knowledge base in the private equity and investments industries. Most recently, she was Managing Director at Silver Lake, a leader in technology investing. In this role, she was responsible for securing some of the firm’s most successful deals, one being BlackLine Systems, an enterprise software company that develops cloud-based solutions designed to automate and control the entire financial close process. She later served on BlackLine’s Board. In addition to Blackline, Hollie has served on the Boards of many Luminate companies.
Hollie also sits on the Board of Directors at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is a renowned organization founded by Ethel Kennedy that works alongside local activists to ensure lasting positive change in governments and corporations. The foundation has done tremendous work across the globe, working to defend the rule of law, highlight the struggles of the displaced, and, among many other causes, advocate for the rights of political prisoners journalists
Hollie graduated from Harvard with an AB in Economics and earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
