Hayley Walters is a highly experienced business consultant, who leads as Chief Operations Officer at The Marque. Her career spans more than two decades and is defined by making a difference and equipping organisations for the future.
She is an innovative thinker who drives transformation through inclusiveness, cultivating potential and the application of digital strategies and technology. In her role at The Marque, she applies her wealth of knowledge and experience to a business that is inherently dynamic and innovative.
Under JACAW Hayley worked with start-up accelerator, Seed Engine, as well as a major food and general retailer that operates across Africa. She served as an Independent Business Advisor at Seed Engine, where she focused on supporting black female entrepreneurs with training, mentoring and incubation. Working with one of Africa’s largest retailers, she led a team of technology strategy advisors to facilitate a strategy, develop an operating model and to implement the associated technology organisation, process, metrics and methods.
During her tenure at leading professional services company, Accenture, Hayley headed the Accenture Supply Chain Executive Network for Africa where she worked with more than 50 executives and directors. As Managing Director of Accenture Strategy, Hayley was involved with strategic cost management including the application of technology to promote growth and manage cost while also preparing teams for navigating the future of business.
She served as Chairman of the CIPS Adjudication Committee and has led the Accenture Woman’s Leadership Forum. Hayley has contributed as a guest speaker at numerous international Woman Leadership Forums and most recently spoke at the Deloitte Western Cape Funding Fair. She is passionate about inclusion and is a South African Diversity mentor.
Hayley graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours.
