Super Bowl LV in Tampa: Hospitality reality

Wheels Up’s celebrity-laden “Super Saturday Tailgate” party, which attracted more than 2,500 people last year in Miami, is going virtual for a 75-minute presentation on the afternoon of the game. “Looking at it positively, we’re hoping to connect to more of our members across the country — not just those in the Super Bowl city,” said Executive Vice President Gary Spitalnik.

Private Jet Companies Are Flying For a Cause

In September, Wheels Up...unveiled its first orange plane, a Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft ... to honor Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month. The orange jet is part of the ongoing Wheels Up Cares and Meals Up initiatives, the latter of which was created in March to help support the growing levels of food insecurity during the Covid-19 crisis. To date, the project has raised the equivalent of more than 47 million meals for Feeding America, thanks in part to support from Wheels Up ambassadors such as athletes Tom Brady, Alex Rodriguez, and Russell Wilson, and performers Ciara and Jennifer Lopez.

Costco, Wheels Up bring private jet memberships to the masses

Costco will be selling private jet memberships through a new partnership with a private aviation firm called “Wheels Up.” “We’re democratizing private aviation. We’re bringing it from tens of thousands to millions and if you’re going to democratize aviation, who better to partner with than Costco,” Wheels Up founder & CEO Kenny Ditcher told FOX Business’ Kristina Partsinevelos on Wednesday.
