Biography
Edi Truell has over 28 years of financial services experience in private equity and debt markets. A director of Hambros Bank in 1991, Chief Executive of Hambro European Ventures in 1994, Edi also led the 1998 buyout and formation of Duke Street Capital. Chairman of the British Venture Capital Association from 2001 to 2002 and in 2006 he co-founded Pension Corporation, a leading provider of risk management solutions to defined benefit pension funds. Edmund Truell is also a Trustee of The Truell Charitable Foundation and the Charles Darwin Foundation.

Truell targets listing to capture business from UK LGPS pools

Disruptive Capital, the private equity business and family office of Edi Truell, is going public in a bid to attract investment from the country’s emerging local authority asset pools and other “sophisticated” investors. It intends to list on Switzerland’s SIX stock exchange as Disruptive Capital AG (DCAG), with ambitions to develop into a larger private asset manager.
