Donato J. Tramuto is a senior-level executive, thought leader, entrepreneur, public speaker, and the author of two books including “The Double Bottom Line: How Compassionate Leaders Captivate Hearts and Deliver Results.” He has committed himself to social change, healthcare innovation and guiding others on compassionate leadership.

Donato founded Health eVillages, a mobile health technology organization that improves healthcare in the most challenging environments. He is the Founder of The TramutoPorter Foundation, which focuses on advancing young people’s rights to education and healthcare.

He was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Healthways (later Tivity Health) where he altered the company’s trajectory and growth by driving a creative divestiture of one of the sub-performing divisions of over $1B valuation.

Donato is Chairman of the Board for Cherish Health, member of the Board for Zeel Health and Chairman of the RFK Human Rights USA Leadership Council. He received the LifeTime Red Jacket Award by PharmaVoice. In 2015, Donato was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell's College of Fine Arts; in 2017, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Science from Thomas Jefferson University and in 2018 he received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Lasell College.
