Deb Alderson has more than 30 years of leadership experience in national security, transformative technology and correctional facilities. She is CEO of GTL, a leader in correctional rehabilitation technology, education and rehabilitation solutions for inmates and payment services solutions for government.
She is recognized for her vibrant leadership style and outspoken support for female peers and colleagues. Deb has a proven track record of building high-performance teams with an emphasis on improving the recidivism rate while building business growth. Under her leadership, GTL launched their Women's Technology Council, an initiative that provides support in the form of training and forums to women that work in technology at GTL.
Prior to her appointment as CEO of GTL, Deb was CEO and President at Sotera Defense Solutions after having served as COO and Executive Vice President at SRA International. During her tenure at SRA, Deb headed four main operating groups where she was responsible for over 6,000 employees, and built her expertise within technology to eventually apply it to the correctional space at GTL.
During her six years at SAIC, the Fortune 500 defense and intelligence technology company, she served as Group President of the Defense Solutions Group, overseeing more than 14,000 team members. Deb also previously served as President of the Systems Engineering Group at Anteon. She achieved growth from $65 million to $400 million through the implementation of solutions in support of the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, US Army, US Air Force, Marine Corps and Department of Homeland Security.
Deb was named a Washington Post Top 25 Female Executive and was recognized with the Federal 100 Award in 2011.
