Dario Brignole is Founder and CEO of Shine Entertainment Media and has more than three decades of experience in sports marketing.
The focus of Shine’s business is on sports and entertainment and the representation of talent, properties (events), sponsorship, licensing, management of events, media production and rights. Shine is a leader in the Hispanic market in the USA and works with/represents major sportsmen such as Jonathan Dos Santos and Memo Ochoa. Shine has collaborated with stellar names in the soccer industry, namely Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and the late Diego Maradona. Dario leads the way in advising and liaising with clients, influencers, brands and sponsors on strategies to maximise exposure and create lucrative revenue streams.
Dario’s wealth of knowledge is regularly shared during appearances on CNN Sport, as part of discussion panels and providing insight on various sporting topics. He has been quoted in the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, has been a keynote speaker at Soccer X and several sports marketing conferences.
As a student, Dario befriended the staff at the IMG office close to his home and secured himself the role of an unpaid intern. He went on to become an employee of the world-leading sports and entertainment agency, IMG, in Cleveland, ultimately progressing to the position of Senior Vice President whilst heading the Soccer Division and the Hispanic and Latin American Division. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience of the sports industry in his role as Marketing Manager at global sportswear superpower, Nike-Topper and Head Racquets.
Dario graduated with an MBA in International Business and New Technologies at the University of Maryland, College Park. This was preceded by postgraduate courses in Economics at Stanford University and George Washington University and a BA in Administration and Marketing at the University of Business and Social Sciences in Buenos Aires (UCES).
