Cornelia von Rittberg is an international art adviser and broker for private and corporate clients, as well as art institutions. Based in London, Cornelia specialises in European paintings and drawings from 1800 to 1950.
Prior to setting up as an independent art adviser Cornelia spent 10 years as a representative for Sotheby's auction house in Germany. Her clients benefit from her longstanding relationships with galleries, auction houses, dealers, curators and private collectors. Cornelia is fluent in German and French and has a good knowledge of Spanish which assists with her work throughout Europe.
Cornelia cares deeply about environmental issues and also about helping people help themselves. To this end, she is currently supporting training for South American environmentalists/conservationists through the Conservation Strategy Fund. She is also an ardent supporter of the English National Opera and has enjoyed supporting the training for young singers. She is a member of the George Beaumont Group, National Gallery.
Cornelia gained a degree in Positive Psychology from the University of East London and has also trained in Short Solution Focused Therapy and NLP. Prior to this she studied Garden Design at the Inchbald School of Design and Business Administration at European Business School.
