A coach and leader, the name Sir Clive Woodward is linked to two of the UK’s most memorable and historic sports achievements: England’s 2003 Rugby World Cup victory and Team GB’s performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Drawing upon his successful experience at the top of elite sport, Clive now works across different sports disciplines and businesses to support athletes, coaches, teams and organisations to improve both individual and collective performance.
A former international rugby union player, Clive’s guidance as Head Coach of England saw them move up five notches to claim the top spot on the world rankings – winning every trophy and tournament open to an England team, culminating in World Cup glory in 2003.
He later joined the British Olympic Association as Team GB’s Director of Sport where he worked with the national coaches and athletes at both the Beijing and Vancouver Olympics, ultimately contributing to Team GB’s most successful Games at London 2012.
Clive is the Founder and Chairman of Hive Learning, an app developed to digitise his coaching methods and designed to help people learn better together in sport and business. He is also Director of Sport for the APEX2100 International Ski Academy, a leading High-Performance Academy for young and aspiring athletes who want to achieve their goals in Alpine Skiing.
