Clive Richards is a Senior Commercial and Marketing Executive in the sports and entertainment industry. He is currently working as a Senior Consultant for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Air Sports Group (ASG) and The Marque, using his knowledge and experience to advance the growth of these companies.
At PSG, the fastest growing brand in world football, Clive supports the global partnerships team, securing market leading companies as the club’s commercial partners.
At ASG, he identifies and secures growth opportunities for their air sports and entertainment events and products. At The Marque, he secures leaders in sport and business as new clients.
Recently, in a short term project with Universal Music UK, he sought growth opportunities for Globe Sonics and developed partnerships for Universal Music in sport.
Also, as a Senior Consultant at Laureus, Clive led the global commercial strategy. He also sourced and negotiated commercial and host city partnerships.
Previously he was Managing Director, Partnership Development EMEA for CSM Sport & Entertainment where he brokered brand partnerships in Formula 1 and other motorsport series. As CEO of Digital Strip Ltd, Clive led this software start-up operating in the online gaming space.
Clive was Head of Sponsorship at Wembley Stadium for 3 years where he created the sponsorship programme and secured the Founding Partners, resulting in multi-million pound revenues for The FA. He worked at IMG for 8 years, where he gained experience in sponsorship management and sales in sport, music and fashion. He also managed the commercial interests of England football coach, Sven-Göran Eriksson and worked on high-profile events including the 1996 Cricket World Cup and the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games.
His career started in the British Army, where he served for 6 years as an Officer in the Green Howards in Northern Ireland, Germany, Nepal, Cyprus and the MOD, where he was Aide-de-Camp to Chief of the General Staff.
