With this victory, he entered the top 200 in the World Golf Rankings. This led to his PGA Tour debut at the 2014 Memorial Tournament. After winning his third Web.com event of the season at the Winco Foods Portland Open, Carlos earned fully exempt status on the PGA Tour as a three-time, single-season winner. He was also named Web.com Tour Player of the Year.
In his first full PGA Tour season, Carlos ended in 93rd place in the FedEx Cup and his T9 at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba was his season’s best performance. His best finish in a major came in the 2019 US Open where he finished tied for 52nd place.
