Biography
Guy Roxburghe inherited the title at the age of 19 but served for three years in the Blues and Royals before officially taking the running of Roxburghe Estates. He has maintained many existing enterprises but also introduced and developed new ones. The Estate is not just Floors Castle, fishing, both pheasant and grouse shoots, a thoroughbred stud, 43 tenanted farms, five farms run inhand and a forestry operation but also includes the Roxburghe Hotel and golf course, and garden terrace café and a wind farm. Guy has served as a Steward at The Jockey Club from 2008 to 2013.

Guy Roxburghe, 10th Duke of Roxburghe, was the elder son of the 9th Duke by his second wife Elisabeth McConnel. He succeeded his father to the title of Duke of Roxburghe in 1974. The Duke lives at Floors Castle, Kelso, Roxburghshire, which was opened to the public in 1977, and recognised widely as the largest inhabited Castle in Scotland.
